Vision & Mission
The defining lines of our mission derive its inception from the concerned minds of individuals who want to contribute to society and serve the people of Pakistan. Those who are educated, are working at potential places and are capacitated, feel that the society demands in return. Because, they have been a product of the same milieu.
RDO is a response to the call of society, its problems and challenges which are specific in nature like illiteracy, ignorance, and marginalization in the environs of a developing, populous country. The people working with the organization are mostly serving from the platform of education. They feel the emergency of delivering awareness to common people who in majority of situations are found sleeping to the situation, uninformed and sometimes ignorant to consequences and future implications of certain social and political changes and problems.
RDO’s aim is to impart awareness on global, academic, socio-economic issues to uplift humanity in a species friendly environment and to stimulate the enlightenment level of scientific development of the world in developing countries like Pakistan. The ever big challenge remains how to inform people unto a gross root level and how to trickle down the flow of information. Though electronic and print media have served a lot and they are pivotal in the arena of information dissemination but people to people interaction even requires more attention. Communicate the problems and to seek their solutions.
To be more precise, it is this provision of a platform for public Service which is the binding reason for the establishment of Renaissance Development Organization. Its nature and scope in social and it is non-political and non-commercial.
In terms of ideology and norms, we are not committed to any corporate and political cause but it social welfare and particularly the enlightenment of masses which is the supreme goal of our endeavors and activities. It is a ground reality that Education makes people east to lead but difficult to drive, easy to govern but impossible to enslave. It refers to the value of informed polity and the type of mindset, they develop after intellectual transformation. It is a candid formula to reform systemic abuses, socio-culture problems like specific gender roles and just allocation of resources within the framework of society.
As Education is the cornerstone of our mission to social development, we believe that advancement in knowledge is closely linked with distribution of knowledge. If keen and focused policies are not framed, the knowledge and information remains concentrated and widens the gap between have and have not. Such gaps in gender social crimes, violence and evil of exploitation. We believe that dissemination of information is the key to develop modern civilization and to tackle the threats it faces today like poverty, crimes, human raffling, human rights violation and social injustice.
